| RUNNER'S INSTRUCTIONS |
Thank you for your entry in the 32nd Annual Glide Floss Bridge to Bridge Run Sunday, October 5th, 2008, in San Francisco, CA, RAIN OR SHINE, benefiting Special Olympics Northern California.
START TIME
7K/12K Walk/Run will start at 9am on Sunday, October 5th RAIN OR SHINE.
Bib #'s must be worn on the front of your shirt on the course, in the finish chutes, for photos, and to receive official race t-shirt and refreshments.
SWEATS
Our sweats truck will be located at the foot of Market Street adjacent to Embarcadero Center. Please make sure your sweatshirts and sweatpants are marked with your name and phone number. DO NOT CHECK VALUABLES NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST ITEMS. BE GREEN bring your own reusable bag pre-marked with your bib #
PARKING
Park at Embarcadero Center with your race bib for only $10. Just show your race bib as you exit the Embarcadero Center garage.
All registered participants can pick up their t-shirt at the expo after the race. Adult sizes S, M, L, XL will be available (NOTE: A limited number of XXL will be available. To reserve an XXL - email [email protected]). WE ARE NOT ABLE TO GUARANTEE T-SHIRT SIZE - FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED.
POST RACE EXPO/ACTIVITIES
After crossing the finish line at the end of the race, runners and walkers can enjoy the after-race expo on the Presidio Parade Grounds, which features live music on the main stage starting at 9am, plus an expo area with food and drink sampling from our race sponsors, and a sports pavilion.
FINISH LINE TIMING & RESULTS
All registered runners will be timed using Bar Code Timing. The tag at the bottom of the bib # has the bar code which will be used to record your official time. Please do not remove this tag until you cross the finish line and are asked for it by the finish line officials. Finish line timing is being provided by It's About Time/Buzzword Productions. Results will be available race day at the expo and online following the race at www.bridgetobridge.com.
AWARDS/AGE DIVISIONS
Awards announced from main stage: 7K & 12K Prizes to Men & Women as follows: 1st, 2nd , 3rd Place Overall (all ages) • 1st Place Youth (8-12, 13-16)• 1st Place Master (40+) • 1st Place Senior (60+)
Awards to be picked up at Age Division Tent: 7K & 12K Medals 1st, 2nd & 3rd Men & Woman in the following age categories: 8-12 • 13-16 • 17-29 • 30-39 • 40-49 • 50-59 • 60+
7K & 12K Men & Women winners will also receive an IPOD courtesy of Crest Glide Floss.
KIDS
Baby joggers are welcome in the 7K & 12K events. There is also a Kids Zone at the race expo with interactive games and a children’s stage with jugglers and magicians.
SHUTTLES
There will be FREE shuttles back to the start after the race.
IMPORTANT
If you requested that your race bib be mailed and you still have not received yours, please go to the Guest Services booth on Saturday or on race day and we will issue you a replacement bib.
