By all accounts, KFOG's 5th Annual Spring Wing Ding at Paramount's Great America was a smashing success. With skies remaining clear, temperatures staying in the moderate range, and little waiting in notoriously large lines, Northern California's largest theme park was over taken by lucky Fogheads who won their way in during various contests held in the weeks prior to the evening. Offering rides for both young and old, Paramount's Great America served as the stage for another great Foghead event.

Speaking of stages, this year's Spring Wing Ding featured a KFOG Private Concert with World Class Rock artists Midnight Oil. The Aussie band, led by 6'7" (and completely bald) singer Peter Garrett, rocked the Fogheads with a warm mix of old favorites like "Bed Are Burning", "Dreamworld", and "Blue Sky Mine", as well as newies from the band's latest release Capricornia. The band has always been known as an energetic live entity, and they held up to their end of the bargain, with Garrett catapulting himself around the stage, arms flailing, leaving the rest of the boys to grind out their tight, earnest rock and roll.

Thanks goes out to all the Fogheads for coming out and making this another KFOG Spring Wing Ding to remember.
