All participants start together at the Ferry Building, foot of Market Street on The Embarcadero. Course goes along The Embarcadero, through Fisherman's Wharf, Fort Mason, Marina Boulevard into the Presidio National Park.

At Mason and Halleck, the 7K runners and walkers turn to the Presidio Parade Grounds while the 12K runners go through the new Crissy Field Wetlands along the Golden Gate Promenade to Fort Point under the southern anchorage of the Golden Gate Bridge and back to the Presidio Parade Grounds.

Lots of free food and drink plus concert on the Bridge Run stage.

Free bus transportation back to the start area after the race.
