We had a great time at the 10th Annual KNBR/Giants Winter FanFest Saturday at Fort Mason Center.

Not even the rain could dampen the spirits of Giants Fans ready for baseball season to begin. They were on hand long before the doors opened to buy Giants tickets, bid on great memorabilia at the Giants Community Fund Booth and talk over their purchases with Gary Brison of the Yahoo Auctions Sports Collectors Show.

And there were plenty of chances to win things, like Haiwen Chen of San Francisco who guessed 444 balls in the Audi TT and is now going to Spring Training.

The entire KNBR gang was there, joined by Peter Magown, Vida Blue, Orlando Cepeda, Shawon Dunston, Mike McCormick and Mike Aldrete who signed autographs.

Oh yes, Lucille was there, too.

According to the Giants, 75,000 tickets for the Giants 2001 season at Pacific Bell Park were sold Saturday.
